With a history dating back many years, ‘Rewine’ was written by Masta Recka at the end of his senior year in high school in the Bronx, which he first sang at SUNY Old Westbury College as a freshman during a Def Jam Comedy Series. Countless attempts to produce the song with various producers were not all failures, but a vision so ahead of its time it propelled Masta Recka to expand his musical horizon. 2009 brought hope to ‘Rewine’ when Masta Recka and Jeano Music did an R&B reggae version of the then titled ‘Sex Must Rewind.’ Despite the

popularity and melodic harmony from the super talented Jeano, Masta Recka sensed the song lacked some of the reggae flavors he originally envisioned. In 2015 he sought a female vocalist and reached out to Jamaican producer Quick Mixx who helped to incorporate the soothing and sexy vocals of the gifted Lady Love. Masta Recka was excited about the vocals and with the help of Mozeko a producer from Jamaica they crafted the perfect fusion of a reggae dance beat.
